NL EAST TITANS CLASH IN HEATED EXCHANGE!

by Clyde Hawkins

Braves Manager Bobby Cox (2-4) and New York Mets Manager Eric Graham (4-2) lit up the media's phones late sunday when Cox lashed out at Graham.

"Yeah...I was sittin in my office talking with Lidle....trying to wrap an arm around him, basically jus' sayin dont worry about it ya' know, your a big part of our team, and youll bounce back. Then I got this text- (COX JUST TRASHED YOU ON LIVE T.V...TUNE IN!!) so I asked Corey to leave, not before tossin em' a gram of Panama Red and said go home and light up. I turned on the tube and saw Bobby just ripping me to shreads. Sayin I was to young, to inexperienced, and how I have made a mockery of Major League Baseball with drug busts and questionable calls during games." Graham stated.

Bobby Cox had several complaints about the Mets new skipper- saying "THIS IS OUR DIVISION PUNK!!!!!, JUST WAIT UNTIL OCTOBER WHEN YOUR LOOKING BACK UP AT US!" Screaming, practically foaming at the mouth. We dont know yet what got Bobby so riled up, maybe his teams not off to the start he would have liked to have seen, or maybe hes being stood up by the young gun in queens. Who knows, im sure we havent heard the last of this story.

"I aint' gonna get into a war of the words with Bobby, you really shouldnt criticize others until you fix up whats wrong with you....plenty their to keep him busy im sure" Graham  noted. Then went on to say "I think the guys a hell of a manager but..... this aint the 1950's anymore Bobb-O, get with tha' program, if I wanna  steal home and sac bunt and do suicide squeezes, I will. Bobby aint' realy the best guy to criticize others about making a mockery of the game either, he tries to teach his team about self-discipline at the plate.... how are you going to preach self-discipline when you attack the buffet in the clubhouse pre-game and can't even fit into your own uniform. That doesn't make any sense to me"

Bobby had no comments for Grahams reply, just a wry stare, and mozzerella cheese dripping from the side of his mouth. Looks like the NL East is heating up, on and off the field.
